Q/A:
Q1. How you describe your journey from Odisha to Pune?
A. Coming to Pune was like written in my destiny. It was unexpected to come to Pune. After completion of my engineering I got placed in a very well Known MNC Bank Of Newyork Mellon Technology India. It’s been 4 years from now and Pune has taught me so many things in each and every aspects of life. I have learnt a lot of things about myself and I must say anyone, who gets chance to visit Pune, should take it, because this city has lot of opportunities in every field. I love being here and I always try to learn new things.
Q2. What are the hurdles that you faced to carry your passion together with job? How you manage things?
A. For me the biggest challenge is to manage my time properly. If anything goes wrong it will directly affect my job as well as cinematography career. I still remember being a Novice in Pune, the first challenge was to get an assignment. Nobody was known to me and I have to start from zero, prove myself and gain trust from everyone.
After that I have been facing countless challenges from time to time. At every point there is something new and I accept it as an opportunity to learn. It drives me closer to who I am and makes me stronger to pursue my dreams.
Money is also a biggest factor which has always been there as a challenge for me. The equipment, travelling to different locations for shooting and other expenditure is not cheap. I have always been struggling to get things manageable. After all, its not at all easy to do job and follow your dreams side by side.
I’m still looking for a break to show my skills and project my work in big banner of Bollywood.
Q3. What you think it is the right time to make your passion a full time career?
A. Well, according to me when I will have that much money where I can fulfil my family needs and give them the lifestyle they want, where I will not have to worry about my own bread and butter for at least 1 year. Reaching at a point where I know I have earned enough money to start my own production house, will be the day I will start living my dream as full time career and I am working on it.
Q4. Who is your role model?
A. “My Parents” are my role model and I want their teachings within me. The way they nurture me is really a life lesson for me. My mother’s teaching always helps me to choose the right path. And if I talk about my father he always taught me to accept every challenge as a new opportunity to prove me in the exam of life, it always motivates me in hard times. At last, I want to say that their blessings always give me strength and pushes me in life to go further to achieve every milestone that I have desired.
Q5. What is your Future Plans?
A. I want to open my production house and I am working on it. I have started working on different projects to enhance my skills and earn more. It takes lot of things to open a production house and I am getting prepare for that.
Q6. What message you want to give to newbie and to the one who are thinking to go to his own business?
A. I believe challenges are the main ingredients of every successful person’s life. It will not be easy to chase your passion without challenges. If you are getting something easily, you will not have value for it. If you are getting something after hard work it will be a remarkable success journey in your life that motivates you at hard times of your life to conquer that shortcoming easily.
For Newbies:
I want to suggests you, if you want to go for your passion to be a full time then prepare yourself first. You should have a strong mind-set to execute it. Start working on it from now.
Second thing is financial stability, start saving from today. Everyone is not blessed with rich parents to support you financially for your decisions. Increase your savings and reduce your expanses is the key to get your best time and then
“GO FOR IT”
This is the law of nature what you think, you are 80% on the path to do it. So start with a commitment to do it. No one can stop you, except you.
